HANDS-ON OFF-GRID COURSE | $595

This course will provide the knowledge to fully install an off grid photovoltaic system. We teach you the appropriate ways to:

• Handle a job site in a way that is compliant to OH&S standards
• Work safely with all the tools required to perform the tasks
• Work with a ground mount raking system
• Handle the wiring from array to home
• Design a battery storage system
• Connect the array wiring systems from Solar panel to electrical

The two-day course will cover a full off grid system install from start to finish at our indoor facility. The world of off-grid solar is an interesting and challenging market. Learn all that you need to get a system hooked up and running correctly. Join us at our training facility for 2 days of hands-on installation! We will be working with components for both a small cabin style system and a larger off grid home set up! Let our instructors get you the knowledge of installation and maintenance at our one of a kind training facility.

We will walk you through the following steps:

• Discuss the safety parameters and tools being used
• Tool inspection
• Safety paperwork
• Install panels on a ground mount system
• Handle all cable components to the interior of the building
• Bring the electrical wiring to the panel and tie in
• Hook up battery system
• Program charge controllers
• Install and program inverters
